Today dragons, clownfish, octopuses and sharks fly over the polders of Żuławy. The Miłoradz municipality said goodbye to summer in Gnojewo, and the KiteWeekend festival drew kite fliers from all over Poland to a field at Jeziorna Osada. In this film I fly over the festival and rise above Żuławy. The guide tells, among other things, how the train dispatcher Alfons Runowski at Szymankowo used a switch to block the way of an unknown, unlit train. One more story from the film: in 1887 a man called Archibald was the first to fix a camera to a kite and take pictures from the air with it.
